Description
Christine Hellman is a professional actor, certified Lucid Body teacher, and intimacy director based in Asheville. Christine’s Lucid Body classes for adults focus on physical storytelling, emotional authenticity, and ensemble connection. With specialized training in consent-based practices, she helps actors access greater depth, vulnerability, and range while maintaining sustainable boundaries. Her approach invites performers to expand their expressive capacity, connect truthfully, and rediscover the joy of creative risk-taking. She has performed in acclaimed productions such as People, Places, and Things; Sweat; Barbecue, and The Flick, and brings decades of professional theatre experience to her teaching.
Guest Instructor Erica Harte is an artist, teacher, ceremonialist, and culture worker curating offerings where body, lineage, story, rite and trauma reacquaint themselves and envelop one another. As a certified Lucid Body instructor, Erica guides students to a deeper connection with their own body and story. Grappling with self and the energetic lineage of that self is the inflection point for crafting characters with respect. She utilizes this training as a practice-based blueprint for embodied artistry, trauma informed storytelling, and grounded ceremony.
